- pronoun
She/Her - Why did you create this work?
My grandmother is a person trapped in time, traveling through her broken memories, cycling through the same things every day. I can't reach her world, it's like I'm shouting into the void, “Hello? Are you there?” I aim to depict the lives of individuals with Alzheimer's through this project, bringing attention to this community. - How were your illustrations used?
This was a course project I did in Kingston University. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The artwork is made of relief printings. I made a lot of monoprints and textures and then collaged these images into one large image. After scanning this image I added portraits and blue details on procreate. - Was this project commissioned?
