Facing Pages is the leading biennale on independent magazines. Over several days they host a symposium with lectures and magazine presentations, exhibitions, parties and more in the lively city of Arnhem. This third event brings leading magazine makers and aficionados together, to show what part the independent magazine currently plays in the development of our culture. Varoom magazines will be available for perusal in the dedicated magazine area.
This year each day will explore a different theme. On Friday the program centers around the theme activism and on Saturday escapism will be explored.
Speakers include Simon Esterson, art director & publisher at Eye Magazine,
Cathy Olmedillas, founder and editor of Anorak and Patrick Waterhouse
creative director at COLORS Magazine.
