After spending a significant amount of time amid the greener sides of Birmingham McLauchlan has developed her approach and intervention with the natural world, resulting in a unique showcase of abstract naturalistic canvases alongside an organic installation display.
Marking a departure from familiar urban landscapes and public commissions, McLauchlan endevours to reverse roles by allowing the natural environment to steer her artistic direction and embark on an explorative mark-making journey.
