  • Why did you create this work?
I created this work to visually represent the diverse disciplines at the art academy while addressing the acoustic challenges in the canteen. The goal was to enhance the space’s atmosphere, making it more welcoming and functional, while reflecting the creativity and innovation of the academy.
  • How were your illustrations used?
My illustrations were applied to the walls of the canteen at the art academy, where they served both as a visual representation of the academy’s diverse disciplines and as an acoustic solution. The laser-cut PET felt illustrations were seamlessly integrated with panels, adding depth and texture, and enhancing both the aesthetics and sound quality of the space.
  • What materials and techniques did you use?
I used laser-cut PET felt for the illustrations, chosen for its acoustic benefits. The illustrations were integrated with panels using double-layered felt to hide seams, adding depth and texture while enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of the space.
