  • Why did you create this work?
    I was commissioned by the City of Wilsonville to create this mural for their Arts and Culture building. The purpose of the mural was to provide visual representation to uplift, recognize and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and Pride Month. I featured a folk art aesthetic with nods to pride, symbolizing growth, transformation, love, and connections that bind the community together.

    This was a temporary mural, displayed for the months of June and July on the windows of the Arts and Culture Center in Wilsonville, Oregon.
