He/Him - Why did you create this work?
This illustration was part of an exhibition of music-themed artworks. I used to play the piano, especially in the middle of the night, it feels like I'm playing in the deep sea. I've tried to express that scenery. - How were your illustrations used?
It's never been used, but if it were, I'd love to see it used as a piano-related essays book cover, recital concert poster, etc. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I used pen drawing in rough sketch process, and then Procreate from the linework to the end of the art. Also I used Photoshop to put Debussy's score at the bottom of it, to make people imagine the sound of the scenery. - Was this project commissioned?

Nyuk was born in 2000 in Gwangju, South Korea. He is currently studying at the Department of Applied Art Education at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, where he also works as an illustrator. Since the exhibition at Hidden Place in 2021, he has participated in various illustration exhibitions. He is mainly interested in hand drawing, which represents the value of his art world. - Where are you currently based?
