He/Him - Why did you create this work?
I was commissioned by the Folio Society to create illustrations for the interior, cover, and slipcase of a new edition of Harper Lee's1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird. - How were your illustrations used?
My artwork appears on the cover, slipcase, and the interior pages of this edition. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The cover was designed and color-separated digitally. The interior illustrations are Graphite on Mylar, mounted to board, and painted with acrylic, digitally finished in Adobe Photoshop. The black and white frontispiece illustration is graphite, acrylic, and ink on toned paper, finished digitally. - Was this project commissioned?
