she/her - Why did you create this work?
The illustration was commissioned by UNIQLO Germany to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The key inspirations for the project included the city of Cologne, the theme of inclusivity across all genders and ages, and the anniversary itself. The individuals depicted in the illustration are inspired by people I encountered while walking and spending time in Cologne. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustration was made available at UTme stations in three UNIQLO stores located in Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin. Customers had the opportunity to select the design and have it printed on a T-shirt of their choice. - What materials and techniques did you use?
Photoshop, drawing, collage, paper structures

Nadine is an Illustrator based in Cologne, Germany.
Since her graduation of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 2012 she works freelance focussing on clients in the sozial and cultural sector. Clients include Magazines, Theaters as well as the City of Köln, Uniqlo and Goethe Institute. - Where are you currently based?
