- Why did you create this work?
This series is inspired from Attar’s “Conference of the birds” — a 12th century poem about a group of birds (led by Hud-Hud) who embark on an epic journey to find the legendary Simurgh. Each bird represents a corresponding human trait (flaw/behaviour) that often holds us back from reaching our full potential. It is a metaphor for the human struggle — the search for self — a core aspect of self-reflection during the 30 Days of Ramadan. - How were your illustrations used?
