He - Why did you create this work?
I was commissioned by Rounded Design to produce a celebratory artwork based on the iconic CND symbol to raise awareness, inspire action and generate support for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. My image titled Peace Flowers shows a number of flowers entwined around the CND motif with seeds fallen below to symbolise hope for a peaceful future. - How were your illustrations used?
This print was exhibited in London alongside works by nine other commissioned artists, with the proceeds from sales going to support the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. The images from the campaign were also used across social media channels to promote the event. Following the exhibition, the image was featured on a variety of items, including t-shirts and tote bags to further promote the cause. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The initial composition was sketched by hand and then later finalised in Adobe illustrator for the production of the print. - Was this project commissioned?
