The city of Turku organized a competition to find artists to create artworks applied to parking meters as part of an art project. The goal was to bring art into the urban environment for everyone to experience, while also transforming the dull parking meters into something more beautiful. The brief was to create artworks inspired by the city of Turku, reflecting its essence and culture. The illustrations were printed on stickers and adhered to 24 parking meters in the downtown of Turku for 5+ years. - What materials and techniques did you use?
