She/Her - Why did you create this work?
Inspired by J.B. Jackson's landscape theory, ‘Landscape One’ imagines a post-disaster world, where an inquisitive adventurer sets on a journey in search of a lost record of the past human civilisation. Seven illustrations span the canvas, presented as a 'scroll' that prompts the question: are we living in the post-civilisation world described in the record the adventurer is searching for? - What materials and techniques did you use?
