Him - Why did you create this work?
The client highlighted the need to encourage customers to descend the store's staircase and visit the lower floors. We proposed creating an illustration to be gradually discovered as they go down. The wall from the ground floor to level -1, where the Spring-Summer collections are displayed, represents Zermatt in the warm season, its mountains, sports activities, and renowned athletes. The wall leading to level -2, is dedicated to winter, featuring iconic events and thrilling descents. - How were your illustrations used?
The two big illustrations were applied on the walls of the internal staircase of the Oberalp Group's outdoor store in Zermatt, Switzerland. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I started sketching with Ipad and Procreate app, then moved to Photoshop designing separately every single scene and I finally created the two compositions using InDesign because of the massive weight of the final export. - Was this project commissioned?
