She/Her - Why did you create this work?
A Fin de Cuentos, commissioned me to illustrate a book about the childhood of famous soccer players, with art direction by Ina Hristova. I thought it was beautiful to see the passion and different backgrounds of each child, they all came from different countries, time, social and economic backgrounds, but what unites them all is the passion for soccer, I found it endearing. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations were published in a hardcover, 44 page edition book in 3 languages, spanish, catalán and euskera, the book was published in november 2024. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The illustrations were made in traditional wax marker on textured paper, to create a traditional halftone texture. Then the images were scanned and the color was applied in photoshop. - Was this project commissioned?

- Biography
Mexican illustrator, UNAM Faculty of Arts, has worked in children's literature with publishers such as Pearson, Macmillan. Her first book as an autor was published by Pixelatl Festival in 2023. She was selected in the Illustrators exhibition at Sharjah CRF 2024 & 2025, SOI 67 Jury Selection 2024, Finalist in the Bologna CBF 2025 illustrators exhibition and finalist in the Portfolio Award. - Where are you currently based?
