She/Her - Why did you create this work?
Cartier opened a boutique in Bodrum, Turkiye in June 2024. As a gift for their opening guests and visiting clients, they have printed a beautiful book on the intersection of Bodrum and Cartier. These illustrations were commissioned for this book and were also used for collateral materials for the opening events. - How were your illustrations used?
My illustrations were used both for the work and for the collateral materials during the opening, invitations, menus, gazettes. - What materials and techniques did you use?

Başak Notz is visual artist/illustrator in Chicago. She is a published illustrator who enjoys slowing down to seek the beauty around her, and draws from her bi-continental observations to reflect on what she sees. Her clients include Penguin Random House, HarperOne Publishing, Vogue, Cartier, Meredith Group, Arts Midwest, Colectivo and many others.
