He/Him - Why did you create this work?
The tryptich portrait was created for Little White Lies' issue 102 dedicated to the Challengers film directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring Zendaya alongside Josh O'Connot and Mike Faist. It's a romantic/ sports rivalry film and I doused all the images in an 80's high fashion look that permeates tennis clothing.
- How were your illustrations used?
The illustration appeared in Little White Lies issue 102, accopanying an article focused on the film. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I used a combination of traditional pencil techniques and digital techniques to create an illustration that is both vibrant and steaming with tension and an intense rivalry between the members of the love triangle. - Was this project commissioned?
