  • Why did you create this work?
I created this piece to convey the powerful message of peace through the lens of war’s devastation. By using the Riso medium, I sought to capture both the vibrancy of life and the somber reality of conflict, merging my passion for color with my desire to communicate deeper social and emotional truths.
  • How were your illustrations used?
My illustrations were featured in an anti-war art exhibition at the SVA Flatiron Gallery in New York, as part of the exhibition "Sun Chaser." Through visual art, the exhibition conveyed messages of peace and courage while celebrating friendship and the strength of women.
  • What materials and techniques did you use?
I incorporated a hand-drawn texture using Procreate, while most of the works were created through Riso printing. I value the significance of handmade art, embracing its unique imperfections and tactile quality to enhance the emotional depth of the illustrations.
