  • Why did you create this work?
This stop-motion animation explores what makes people smile—from silly moments to quiet joys. It’s not about making people like what they’ve always disliked or feel grateful when they’re down. Instead, I hope to spark curiosity and offer a fresh perspective: sometimes, joy hides in the smallest, most unexpected places.
  • How were your illustrations used?
This is the first stop motion animation I've ever created, it was created for my graduation project.
  • What materials and techniques did you use?
I used Dragonframe for animation, along with lighting skill to enhance the visuals. The stop-motion animation was created with a combination of wood and metal work, as well as wool felt for texture and detail. Post-production was done in After Effects and Capcut to add finishing touches and effects.
