In college, while studying art history, I often wondered: Is easel painting still relevant today? After watching Work Without Author, I realized the importance of self-expression. • Biography
Hi, I am Ting Wang, an illustrator based in China. My own experiences mostly inspire my drawings. When I was traveling, I used ink pens to do sketches. I also found that printmaking can give me a unique texture to apply to my illustrations. I think drawing is a process of self-discovery. I can convey my emotions and discover a different version of myself in my work. Sometimes creating is not a thing with high positive feedback, but when I keep on doing it, I often find surprises.
