She - Why did you create this work?
I collected the favourite vegetable recipes of my illustration collegues and friends and created this book for vegetable lovers. It contains 112 best loved recipes for experts, beginners and for all who want their food to be healthy, colorful and sustainable. A collection of recipes peppered with personal tips and tricks from vegetable lovers for vegetable lovers. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations are as colorful and varied as the recipes and are designed to make cooking fun.
Each recipe is accompanied by a portrait of the person which contributed the recipe. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The book has been printed in five transparent pantone colours. To simulate the final print, i used layerings in photoshop and edited canals of each colour for the printer. It's been very exciting how the prints would come out, if they were equivalent to my files, especially the neon red. - Was this project commissioned?

Sabine Kranz studied visual communication at Kunsthochschule Kassel and Stuttgart and works as an illustrator and author in Frankfurt am Main. Her work is inspired by contemporary and past pop culture, and repeatedly by French comics and the space age. She is always on the lookout for new and exciting ideas. Her work is created for picturebooks, magazines, companies and personal projects. - Where are you currently based?
