- Why did you create this work?
I attempt to explore my inner world and transform my emotions into unique graphics and imprints. I believe that every persons's life begins with a core of power that radiates its energy outward. Through contact and influence with the outside world, our lives gradually take on different shapes, ultimately arriving at a perfect conclusion or ending that belongs uniquely to it. - How were your illustrations used?

Ruyang Gao (Gigi An) is an illustrator from China. She graduated from BFA Illustration from School of Visual Arts in 2024. She enjoys structures and decorative design elements in her creative process. Her works focus on the combination of structural objects and abstract or organic elements.
