He/Him - Why did you create this work?
Jersey Zoo commissioned a repeat pattern design for a full range of illustrated merchandise, with adaptable pullout sections for additional uses. The pattern highlights several of the zoo’s most popular and charismatic species, including animals with significant conservation ties to Jersey Zoo, reflecting their commitment to wildlife preservation. - How were your illustrations used?
Leggings, shorts, jumpers, posters, notebooks, mugs, keyrings, coasters, magnets, tea towels, hats, caps and blankets. Some of these used the full repeat pattern while others focused on individual animals. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I sketched in Adobe Fresco and the final artworks were finished using Adobe Illustrator, with help from Adobe Photoshop for refining the colour palette. - Was this project commissioned?
