She - Why did you create this work?
To expand my portfolio and perhaps spark ideas for a future picture book, I joined the Once Upon a Winter 2024 challenge hosted by Orange Beak Studio. My illustrations, inspired by the given prompts (the magician, feather, glimmer, pine, ember, and flight), form a mini narrative about friendship, compassion, and resilience in challenging conditions. - How were your illustrations used?

I created these illustrations using a Wacom tablet and Photoshop, integrating scanned textures that I crafted freehand. - Was this project commissioned?

I’m a freelance illustrator from Slovenia with a background in design and textile materials. My master's thesis, The Concept of the Fabric Book, received the Slovenian National Design Award. Passionate about illustration and art, I have expanded my skills through art courses and creative writing.
