He/Him - Why did you create this work?
"Raising the Roof" is an introduction to the world of classical music and its composers designed for young readers. It is also an inclusive history of music, adding important female and non-white composers to the well-known names. As a music enthusiast, working on this project has been an opportunity to explore and design a unique universe of sounds, full of colorful characters. - How were your illustrations used?
These illustrations were used for "Raising the Roof", a 80 pages picture book written by Jack Pepper and published by Templar Books in the UK, and Edizioni Lapis in Italy. - What materials and techniques did you use?
All images were created digitally, using Procreate for iPad and then Adobe Photoshop for the color adjustment. - Was this project commissioned?
