She /Her - Why did you create this work?
I was commissioned by Accento Edizioni to create the cover and internal illustrations for this guide by A. Cattelan and A. Biacchi. Since it also includes recommendations from 10 Italian stars who love the city, the publisher asked me to create a portrait of them, blending it with their advice. The cover plays with the most iconic imagery of NYC and the subtitle of the guide. - How were your illustrations used?
For this book I made 10 portrait-illustrations and the guide-book cover illustration. These illustrations have been used for this guide-book and to promote it. - What materials and techniques did you use?
