She/her - Why did you create this work?
The 18 illustrations in this menu are a tribute to the enchanting city of Venice and were created alongside the cocktails they are paired with.
The theme of this project is “Veniceland”: each drink at Experimental Cocktail Club has a unique recipe that tells a story of the famous Italian lagoon city, suspended between ancient legends and real historical events. - How were your illustrations used?
The project consists of 17 illustrations and a cover created for the 2024–2025 cocktail menu of Experimental Cocktail Club, specifically for its Venice location. The illustrations were also used for promotional materials for the launch of the new menu on social media and for the design of themed glasses, inspired by the artwork, in which some of the cocktails can be served. - What materials and techniques did you use?

Margherita Caspani is an Italian freelance illustrator, graduated in Illustration and Animation from IED Milan. Her illustrations have received international awards from competitions across Europe, the USA, and China.
Her projects mainly involve editorial collaborations and work with brands.
