He - Why did you create this work?
The illustrations are for an artist's book based on short stories by the famous Hungarian writer Géza Csáth. Géza Csáth's writings are pervaded by sad, depressing and dark themes. The black and white, blank-eyed illustrative figures reflect this mood. When publishing the book, it was important to combine the possibilities of traditional and digital illustration. - How were your illustrations used?

- Biography
Tamás Marcell graduated from the University of Fine Arts as a graphic designer. Afterwards he founded a company with his friend, where they work for different companies. Their profile was mainly in the fields of corporate design and television design. After the dissolution of the company, he founded his own company, Marcell Studio, covering all areas of graphic design. At the same time, he is a lecturer and BA course leader at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. - Where are you currently based?
