she/her - Why did you create this work?
A dusty prairie. A determined cowlady. One goal in mind: her next job. With a humorous cinema spot, we introduced ourselves to the audience of Zurich's cinemas to increase our visibility. The clip features a reduced color palette and a grainy texture in true western style. In a few seconds, we tell the story of what makes us: stance and the courage to go our own way – on the small and big screen. - How were your illustrations used?
This is a self-initiated project we started during a tumbleweed moment in our commission schedule. But instead of burying our heads in the
sand, we took the reins and launched a cinema ad to boost our visibility. - What materials and techniques did you use?

We are Klub Galopp, a Swiss design studio. Klub Galopp consists of Nina Calderone and Maria Rehli. In addition to our own projects, we realize commissioned work, mostly in the cultural, social and environmental sectors. Our focus is on storytelling that goes beyond the obvious. Our hearts beat for bold colors and generous shapes, but we also appreciate subtle nuances and details. - Where are you currently based?
