  • Why did you create this work?
I collaborated with the advertising agency to create three posters for the San Diego Opera season. The brief encouraged a conceptual, symbolic approach, avoiding literal depictions of scenes. The goal was to intrigue and entice opera-goers, combining a full figure interacting with a symbolic element, subtly referencing the opera's themes, period, or setting.
  • How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations were used across collateral print materials, website, email blasts, and social media. Additionally, the rights included animation adaptations for local PBS TV and social media campaigns.
