She/her - Why did you create this work?
The story is about an Indian girl with a large birthmark on her cheek. It makes her very insecure. She gets bullied by her family and she runs away. It is really about self acceptance and the ability to take your life in your own hands. The story is written by Jeroen Franck. - How were your illustrations used?
It is published in 2022 as a children's book for age 7 – 9 y/o - What materials and techniques did you use?
