gordyjwright - Biography
Gordy is a freelance illustrator and printmaker who works from his studio in Bristol. He studied illustration at Bristol UWE where he graduated in 2014 with a first class honours. He works on a variety of editorial and publishing projects and enjoys playing with narrative throughout his work. In his illustrations he aims to evoke a natural and textured feeling which are hand painted in gouache and acrylic.
Selected clients include Aquila Magazine, Art Angels Publishing, Bristol Cable, Lincoln Children’s Books, Lancet Neurology, Quarto Kids, Walker picture books, Words & Pictures Books and more. - Where are you currently based?
