Mr - Why did you create this work?
Munch Is Missing is a full colour children's picture book commissioned by Josephine Langebrekke via BAReps for MUNCH (Munchmuseet) in Oslo, Norway. The brief was to create a book aimed at children but with something for adults too. It takes readers on a wild journey through the life and work of Edvard Munch. The book introduces the people who shaped his world, the art he created, and the lasting influence he left behind. - How were your illustrations used?
My artwork was used throughout the book for the cover, introduction and in 12 full colour spreads as pictorial guides to the story of Munch - What materials and techniques did you use?
Hand-drawn in photoshop, Clipstudio, with additional work on paper & iPad Clipstudio

For over 17 years, Celyn has worked as an animation and art director with Bernstein & Andriulli and Nexus Studios, bringing stories to life through dynamic visuals. As an editorial illustrator, his work has appeared in national newspapers both at home and abroad.
Celyn has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including the London Wildlife Trust, Kew Gardens, WWF, MIT, The New York Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, and The Financial Times. - Where are you currently based?
