
Image Type: Single Image
Usage: An exlibris image, which also is one of the illustration in my exhibition series ‘The Lost Poem - Girl and the Sea’ in Adelaide Fringe 2017
Process: First, make a rough layout on the paper. Then use water-colour to paint the first layer of contour and scan into computer. Finally, readjust and emphasis the details of the image by using Photoshop.
Materials: Watercolour, pencil and computer (Photoshop), mixed media
Formats: Pencil layout, watercolour test and digital finishing files
Brief Requirements: Create an image showing the isolated feeling in the city which sets on the sunset of a remote landscape in symbolic method by using watercolour in pastel colour to emphasis the fact that everyone is somehow lonesome in search of the life journey.
Key Brief Ideas: This is one of the illustration in my exhibition ‘The Lost Poem - Girl and the Sea’ in Adelaide Fringe 2017. The theme is To Lo Harbour of Hong Kong . Experienced the rule of British Government and China's One country two system policy, Hong Kong still remains as an important international financial, service and infrastructure city. Nowadays,To Lo Harbour is calm but affectionate. Looking across the harbour, the unexplainable sense of solitude is seen, but unreachable.
