  • Why did you create this work?
    I delved into specific social issues, creating the Illustration Installation "Wandering Ghost," which is inspired by the common challenges in social existence faced by me and my friends from rural areas. I reflect on the dilemma of rural university students navigating their development between urban and rural areas in the context of China's vast urban-rural disparities.
  • How were your illustrations used?
    This project is my artistic experiment exploring the combination of illustration and installation art, and serves as one of my personal promotional works.

  • Biography
    Bingren Chen is a freelance illustrator and designer from China, currently living in Ningde, Fujian. He graduated from China Academy of Art, and his works have won the bronze medal of China Academy of Art Graduation Creation Award. He is interested in interdisciplinary art creation and likes to combine illustration with animation, installation art, photography and other disciplines.
