She - Why did you create this work?
Rodasoleil is a Lithuanian brand that creates unique sun-protective swimsuits. I was asked to draw illustrations for them. The trick is that only the mesh areas let sunlight through, while the printed parts stay opaque. The visuals must be both eye-catching and functional – protecting the skin from the sun. - How were your illustrations used?
The work went through several stages. I started with a few sketch drafts. We reviewed them during production and selected some for further development. After several printed tests and adjustments, it took four rounds to get results that looked the way we wanted – visually right and still non-transparent. - What materials and techniques did you use?
