She/Her - Why did you create this work?
The TEDx 2024 theme was PLAY. The guiding principle for the design: Be as playful as possible, but in a grown-up way.My design shows a fantastical playground focused on togetherness: interwoven hands engaging with abstract elements. The mixed-media approach—combining vector illustration and a 3D object—emphasizes the playful design and the joy of play. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustration was used throughout the entire TEDx campaign 2024: posters, exhibition design (playground), flyers, tickets, trailer (animation), teasers, and the website, decorative elements throughout the conference. In my studio we also made the 3D object "PLAY".
3D object was made by Hannes Wizany, for the trailer and the speaker teasers, the illustrations were animated by Roman Buchberger. - What materials and techniques did you use?
For the concept, I sketched using Adobe Fresco, while for coloring, shading and textures I used Adobe Illustrator. - Was this project commissioned?
