She / Her - Why did you create this work?
This architectural illustration reflects my experience working at a community bakery in North London while studying architecture at The Bartlett School Of Architecture, UCL. Nestled between a residential estate and a primary school, the bakery was a social hub uniting people from diverse backgrounds despite the area's gentrification. - How were your illustrations used?
My illustration is currently printed out and hung on the wall of the Bakery in North London. The Bakery is called 'Holloway Model Bakery' in Holloway, North London. The drawing replicates a 'model' town which brings together all the residents. - What materials and techniques did you use?

Amy Bass is a Manchester-born, London-based Trainee Architect at Foster + Partners. She graduated with First-class Honours in Architecture (BSc) from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and is now a Fulbright scholar starting her Master’s at Parsons School of Design, NYC. Her architectural interests are closely tied to her passion for travel and cultural exploration. - Where are you currently based?
